NSF CAREER Award Seminar 2014
URSA’s Third Annual NSF CAREER Award Seminar for junior faculty and interested support staff will take place Wednesday, Jan. 29, 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Register today for this wonderful opportunity to hear from a NSF CAREER Award reviewer.
This award is in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholar through the integration of outstanding research and education. With proposal deadlines fast approaching, this seminar is a timely opportunity to receive relevant information for your application.
Back by popular demand, we are delighted to feature Georgia State’s very own Dr. Christine Thomas (College of Education) who is an official reviewer for these prestigious awards. Dr. Thomas will provide first-hand knowledge about what reviewers look for in fundable applications and what commons pitfalls to avoid. This will be a rare opportunity to hear from an actual NSF CAREER Award reviewer and to have your personal questions addressed.
Seating is limited so register today to reserve your seat.
Once you log into the registration page, click on the “Available Schedules” tab and register for the “NSF Career Award Seminar.” For more information about this event, please contact URSA Senior Training Specialist Princeanna Walker at 404-413-3506.
