Georgia State offers Orion, an enterprise based high performance computing resource, for researchers’ use.  Accounts must be requested through a self-service HPC Portal.

Batch Linux HPC System

(Orion)

Schedule and process Linux jobs rapidly using LSF in batch and interactive mode. Orion is comprised of six IBM System x3850 X5 Servers, two Dell PowerEdge R720, and one Silicon Mechanics SuperServer 8027R-TRF.  Specifications are as follows:
