Jill Borland is one of four Associate Directors in the Office Sponsored Proposals and Awards. She brings nearly 17 years of experience in Research Administration to this position, overseeing the OSPA team that handles all Department of Health and Human Services as well as National Science Foundation proposals and awards. Ms. Borland has gained her expertise while working in not only the university setting, but also in nonprofit foundation, hospital and for-profit organizations. Ms. Borland joined Georgia State University in 2010 and has twice been promoted within the OSPA. She serves as the university’s proposal submission expert, oversees a team of staff members and the services they provide, and also contributes to Georgia State University’s Research Administration Certificate Program. Ms. Borland is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) and a Notary Public. She is also a member of NCURA, SRA International, and the Association of Professional Fundraisers.
